　ほとんど忘れられているようですが、彼はまたも大統領選にチャレンジしているようです。

ALBANY - Ralph Nader still draws a crowd.
The longtime consumer advocate is once again running for president after unsuccessful attempts at the White House in 2000 and 2004, but, of his own admission, "two-thirds of Americans dont know Im running."

But about 400 people drawn from around the region gathered Thursday night to hear the man who crusaded against General Motors.

Jim Snyder, 59, said he was a long-time Democrat but eventually tipped toward Nader when he realized "all parties are the same."

59歳のジム・シュナイダーさんは、自分は長い間民主党支持だったが「どの党も同じだ」と気付いてついにネーダーに乗り換えたと言う。

"The man makes sense, he has an open mind," Snyder said. His companion, Erin Sheehan, had seen Nader speak previously and was drawn to come back.

「あの男はちゃんとわかっている。人のことを受け入れる奴だ」とシュナイダーさんは言う。彼の同伴者エリン・シーハンさんも、以前にも彼の話すのを聞いて今回もまた引き寄せられた人だ。

"He gets very charged up, and I think he gets people angry, she said. We're very privileged to live in New York, I might as well vote my conscience."
She'll vote for Nader again.

「彼は凄くやる気でいっぱいよ。彼はみんなを怒らせることができるわ」と彼女は言った。「ニューヨークに住むのは特権的なのよ、良心を投票してもいいと思うぐらいにね」
彼女は再びネーダーに投票するそうだ。
